Collaborative law focusses on communication between the parties and negotiating a fair outcome. The process is driven by each party having control and creating outcomes with both of their solicitors helping to overcome obstacles or create solutions, opposed to Court where solicitors direct you and the Court makes the final decision. This process leaves you with less questions unanswered and an outcome which each “party” is more likely to be satisfied with, as you have been in control and reached the decision on each issue resolved.
